Founded in 2012, Huddersfield Town Foundation is the official charity of Huddersfield Town Football Club. We harness the power of  OUR Club to create opportunities, reduce inequalities, and inspire lasting change in OUR community by delivering impactful programmes across Kirklees and the surrounding areas.

To achieve our mission to deliver change across the whole of Kirklees, we are guided by three core commitments which aim to ensure that everyone in Kirklees has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and belong:

Grow: From classroom support to career development, we help unlock confidence, skills, and ambition through inclusive education and employability programmes. 

Thrive: Through sport, nutrition, and mental health support, we create safe, stigma-free environments where people can flourish. 

Belong: Through mentoring, events, and shared pride, we build trust and friendship—so that across every street, everyone feels they belong. 

We offer meaningful opportunities across education, health, and youth engagement, delivering inclusive programmes that make a real difference, including the very reason we were formed in the first place: the ‘Early Kick-off’ breakfast clubs where we have served over 2.9 million breakfasts to school children in Kirklees, which we continue to support to this day.  

Our staff live and breathe our core values and principles. We stand together to support each other and our community, we keep learning to stay curious and embrace new ideas to help our growth, we go the extra mile to deliver our best work and support, we lead with purpose acting with integrity and champion equality and our community’s strengths and we also live the terrier spirit showcasing our pride, resilience and positivity.
